The seven new designs of the routes of all the races that make up the final of the Triathlon World Series, which will be held in Pontevedra between September 20th and 24th, have been published.
The informative plans, made by the local infographer Xan Sabarís, collect the main data of each of the races, from the start time, the laps they need to do to complete their distances, the location of the transitions and of course, the race courses both by the Lérez river and by Compostela Avenue, the Campus, and the surroundings of the capital, and through the historic center, where the run route passes with the finish at the CGTD stadium.
They also show the altimetry maps, all with a graphic language which is easy to read for both athletes and the general public, since the idea is that these images also serve as a stimulus for citizens to participate by encouraging and cheering on the athletes.
Each of these routes can be consulted on the web (which until now contained provisional plans). They refer to the elite races (Men, Women and U23), Age Groups (Supersprint, Standard and Aquabike), Paratriathlon and Paratriathlon relays.
